Tomorrow will be the celebration of Easter Sunday where Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour resurrected from the cross after being crucified. Tomorrow is a symbol of hope, freedom, restoration and peace.

The Biblical meaning of Easter Sunday represents the day for when Jesus rose from the dead, freeing us from all of our sins and purifying our souls to make us anew. That Sunday, the stone was rolled away as Jesus came back, after suffering all that pain and blood shed on the cross to bring us our salvation.

We all will experience such 'stones' in our lives. It may have already happened or it may still be coming but don't give up. Don't retract your steps to become a victim and not a victor. Don't feel like your future cannot blossom or you cannot progress into your future to reach your destiny because of the stones that may be blocking your way. God did not put those stones there without giving you the tools to break them down and walk through on the path to your future.

Keep going.

Keep pushing forward.

Keep breaking down the barriers.

Keep overcoming the obstacles and getting back up.

I wrote the poem below in celebration of Easter Sunday and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Today and also tomorrow, join in the celebration that Jesus has risen and freed us from all sin. ARISE!

He has risen.

Jesus, you have risen.

No longer a slave by the pins that they nailed you to the cross

Enslaved.

Let freedom reign because you are made, and we are

Born again.

He has risen.

Jesus, you have risen.

You came down to serve not to be served,

Spread the news that our Father wanted to be heard,

And made us anew.

Yes, it is true.

He has risen.

Jesus, you have risen.

And I’m free!

Spiritual bondage no longer can tie me

To the death, darkness and mistakes of my past.

At last;

We are free at last.

And you’re here.

In my presence,

Not physically present but spiritually evident

I can say that’s the truth.

By the opportunities and experiences

I have gained through you.

He has risen.

Jesus, you have risen.

Thank you for this clean new slate,

That I have obtained,

By your resurrection

And of which you overcame.

He has risen.

Jesus, you have risen.

You wear the Victor’s crown.

And you are our Lord.

Matthew 28:5-7 CSB The angel told the women, “Don’t be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here. For He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.

Remember, Trust in the Lord, Love like the Lord and Walk with the Lord. TLW
